Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) is proud to introduce a new form of executive art education as first of a series of “Executive Education Programme on Global Culture”, offering to creative artists, cultural producers, curators, art administrators and members of the general public exclusive insights into contemporary Chinese art, first-hand information about the art scene, and a wide range of contacts with relevant local and international institutions and actors. Coursework will focus on two key examples: The Sigg Collection and Hong Kong’s M+ Museum. Sessions build specialist knowledge and skills based on an approach to teaching and research developed especially for this program.
The first programme starts in Zurich in March 2015 and will be continued in Hong Kong in the near future. It offers an attractive mixture of theory and practice. Faculty will include some of the world’s leading experts in the field and involve Uli Sigg (art collector, patron), Lars Nittve (Executive Director M+), Pi Li (Senior Curator M+) among others.
